REGISS ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

  • Rhonda Shemwell-Shelton, CEO

Though she never truly has a day off, Rhonda still loves keeping her customers happy and beautiful. We're not sure how, but she still manages to find time to snorkel, golf, play Sudoku, read, root for the Hilltoppers, and plan future vacations to St. Thomas.

Perhaps it's because she always drinks coffee and Diet Coke with breakfast. However she finds her trademark get-up-and-go, we support it - she's been the driving force behind Regiss since Day One.

  • Laura Killebrew, Marketing Director

After graduating from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Marketing, Laura decided to bring her talent and skills to Regiss. On the surface, she seems like a sweet yet disciplined pro who adores marketing a new dress, enjoys scrapbooking and sewing, and is head over heels for her husband and two boys, Garrett (age 4) and Levi (age 2).

Look closer, however, and you'll discover a thrill-seeker with an appetite for adventure. On the weekends (if you're quick enough), you can catch Laura braving rapids when kayaking, dodging sinkholes on her ATV, or negotiating the ocean's elements while scuba diving. Laura tells us her mother was a seamstress, but we suspect that she might've been a daredevil archaeologist and the seamstress thing was just a part-time gig.

  • Rachael Brinkley, Inventory Specialist

Rachel started work with us on April Fool's Day, but her dedication to her work is no joke. Her days in the military instilled her with great organizational skills, the ability to sharp-shoot, and an impressive grenade throwing arm. She sounds tough, but she's actually a bit of a softie. When she's not baking cookies or brownies, she's camping, fishing, singing, or playing at the park with her baby girl. Then she comes to work and whips the place into shape.

  • Pam Lawson, Accounting

When she's not vacationing in Cancun or watching UK or the Titans play, Pam is keeping us all organized. Pam is our Accounting Manager and there couldn't be a better person for the job - she hates when things are unorganized.

Pam is just one of those who loves everything about her job and helps people in any way she can. How could we ask for more?

GLASGOW STORE STAFF

  • Andrea Douglas, Assistant Manager

It's no accident that Andrea is our Assistant Manager. She keeps the place looking good (this girl has zero tolerance for messes), keeps smiles on the customers' faces, and can handle any task we throw at her. She's also been busy off the clock lately, building a new house for her and her husband of five years. When she's not rockin' and rollin' at work or on other projects, you can find her camping with her family and friends (where she'll probably be peacefully floating on the river, dreaming of all things tidy).

  • Lauren Shelton, Prom Manager

Lauren's a hardworking college girl, steadily heading toward graduation at WKU. Or so she'll have you think. The truth is, she spends most of her day playing "dress up" with our prom-prepping customers and daydreaming about vacations at Gulf Shores.

That's fine by us, though. If she's not "working", you can catch her playing sports, relaxing with family and friends, or attending various Anti-Stinky Feet conventions and symposiums. Don't laugh - she really can't stand a funky foot, and isn't afraid to say so.

  • Chelsea Harbert, Tuxedo Manager

Even though Chelsea can't stand being unorganized, she loves camping in mountains during the fall. We figure she only appreciates beautiful messes, which is probably why she's fantastic at helping brides and grooms pull themselves together to look amazing on their Big Day.

When she's not working her magic with us, you can find her quilting, crafting, singing, shopping at thrift stores, or planning for her own wedding, at which she'll look terrific.

  • Melissa Mikolajczyk, Bridesmaid Manager

Melissa is an expert in picking out the best accessories for a dress, as well as scolding people who chew with their mouths open. A multi-talented lass, Melissa also plays in a band, is a fantastic make-up artist, and loves to cook, sew and paint. We take turns having her come to our homes to make us dinner, paint flattering portraits, serenade us, and hem any pants or jeans that need adjustin'. Aren't you jealous?

  • Andrea Skaggs, Consultant

You can call her Andi. Or "The Human Trumpet" (we don't know how she does it, but you should really hear it sometime). Of course she loves helping ladies find the perfect dress for them, but she also harbors lust for cookouts, walks, U of K and the Tennessee Titans, and a good snooze. She also really digs going to the pool, but hates wearing a wet bathing suit. We already get her new towels for her birthday each year, so you'll just have to think of something else.

  • Betty Jackson, Consultant

Our customers aren't the only benefactors of Betty's beautifying skills. Whether she's arranging flowers or decorating her house, Betty loves working with her hands to make her world a bit prettier. Oh, and when she was little, she wanted to marry Burt Reynolds.

Thought we should mention that. Times change, however - Betty's four grandchildren are who she adores most these days.

  • Megan Jaggers, Consultant

While Megan is studying elementary education at WKU, she's also working as a fabulous bridal consultant with us. Even though she says she enjoys shopping, swimming, being outdoors and curling up with a good book, her favorite thing is "helping to make a bride happy."

Helping blushing brides to look their best on their big day apparently isn't Megan's only talent--we hear she can cook a pretty mean meal.

Happy, helpful AND smart-that's our Megan.

LOUISVILLE STORE STAFF

  • Millie Gass, Assistant Manager

Millie loves helping people, inside and outside of our store. When she's here, she listens carefully to each customer to make sure they get the dress of their dreams. At home, she's currently training her dog, Cody, to assist the police in missing persons cases.

When she's not hanging out with her family, Millie competes with Cody in AKC Agility and Tracking competitions. Though Millie detests snakes and spiders, she frequently braves running into a few while taking Cody out in the wild to track. Her dedication to Cody doesn't surprise us - she's been doing great work for Regiss ever since we opened.

  • Norma Logsdon, Bridal Manager

An expert at dealing with brides of all shapes, sizes and temperament, Norma also knows how to drywall. Pretty cool, huh? She also enjoys baking, fishing, swimming, camping, and NOT being interrupted while working with a bride. We admire Norma's integrity, for she takes her job seriously and relishes each time she helps a bride find that "one" dress. She may come off tough at times, but she's really a softie who loves hanging out with her grandkids, rooting for U of K, and even playing video games. She may be a Queen of Bridal Consultation, but we can still beat her at Donkey Kong.

  • Wendy Rothfuss, Prom Manager

Want to see Wendy flip out? Double-dip a chip in front of her. Or better yet, take her to a flea market where those free dip samples are available to everyone to stick a pretzel in. She. Hates. That. If you want to make it up to her, give her a catering assignment. Seriously, she makes a mean wedding cake. When she's not in the kitchen, she's outside playing with her dogs, hanging out with family, and making our customers' proms as perfect as possible.

  • Corey Thomas, Tuxedo Manager

Corey definitely knows how to make people look outstanding. You can check out his personal attire if you like, but don't stare - it freaks him out. Luckily, he's usually going too fast on his motorcycle for anyone to gawk at him for too long.

That might make Corey sound like a tough guy, but keep in mind that we're talking about a guy who enjoys juggling and planned his entire wedding by himself. If you need more proof that he's harmless, his favorite things to do on his days off include hanging out with his family and cleaning the house. Professionally, his favorite part of his job is "putting a smile on a customer's face." See? He ain't so tough. We still won't stare at him, though.

  • Diane Cipolone, Bridesmaid Manager

    Coming Soon!

  • Ray Jones, Consultant

Ray is a happy camper. Always smiling, loves walking in the park, spending time with family, playing with snakes… What? Yep, you read that right. This family gal who wishes summer would last all year can't get enough slither in her life. She's simply fascinated by serpents of all shapes and sizes. Which is fine with us, so long as she doesn't come to work with one draped around her shoulders (don't get any ideas, Ray).

  • Kaitlyn Mattingly, Consultant

When Kaitlyn sees the look on a girl's face when she's found "the" dress, it's like a first class trip to Malibu - her favorite getaway spot. That's probably because Kaitlyn has become quite addicted to her gig here since she started in early '09. She came to us not knowing a ton about dresses, but we sensed something promising about her. And it wasn't the fact that she, like us, can't stand it when people smack their mouths when they eat.

  • Dana Logsdon, Consultant

Born in Okinawa, Japan and raised in Orlando, Dana eventually landed in Louisville. Lucky for us, since she does an amazing job. We just wish she could do a better job training her black lab, Rocco, whose favorite chew toy is Dana's house. Rocco's shenanigans aside, Dana still loves heading home at the end of each day to hang out and play games - especially Wii - with her son, Bradley.
